"Hi. I'm Kubo. I'm looking for someone to help me experience all that life has to offer! I love running and chasing my doggy pals in play group. I'm a smart boy but sometimes I like to see if I'm smarter than my human pals. The trainer at FCHS loves me. She tells me how smart I am and that I'd be a hiking or outdoorsy persons dream dog! I've lived with another dog previously, an older female doggy, and have lived with older children. I know how to sit and am learning "wait" and "leave it"
Sometimes I can feel like I need to protect my people from visitors/strangers when I'm in my home... but like the trainer says, I'm a smart boy and with the right guidance and consistency, she thinks I'd be an obedient, bright pal for someone."
Kubo is 1 year and 55lbs. I have nice short hair and I don't seem to shed much, but I do shed... it's just pretty minimal.
All of our animals have a lifetime commitment. If for any reason, the adoption does not work out, the cats and dogs are to come back to FCHS, which is a NO kill facility. The adoption fees help cover a portion of the care provided to the animals.
Please visit our website under adoptable pets for a range of adoptions fees. All pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested (dogs) and placed on preventative, microchipped, and more.
You can find our adoption application at
Applications or questions can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please email for faster response or come on by during our business hours. Please do not call, this may cause delay because we receive a high volume of calls each day and operate with a small staff. Please submit your application once you see a pet you are interested in. Adoption Center hours are Tuesday - Friday 12-6 and Saturday 11-4.
