Speckles is approximately 6 months old, and 16 pounds. He is a bit on the shy side but warms up quickly. He appears to have a very soft temperament. He was surrendered to the shelter because of what the person called separation anxiety. This person only had him for two weeks so it is hard to say what they really meant. He was given away by a friend of this person, so we do not know about his background other than he has been tossed around a bit. He will bark if left alone too long and just wants company. I had him at an event yesterday and he was receptive to everyone and also to the other dogs there. Speckles has been dewormed, microchipped, tested for heartworm and is on preventive, neutered and has received the Distemper-Parvo combination vaccine, Kennel Cough vaccine and Rabies vaccine.
