Meet Oreo

AgeYoung BreedBoxer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) Sexfemale, spayed

Oreo and her sister found themselves picked up by Animal Control and taken to the county shelter where they were held in hopes their owner would come to get them. After a long wait period no one came to take Oreo and her sister home therefore Bedford Humane Society gave Oreo and her sister a safe, comfortable place to stay until a new forever home could be found. Oreo got her name from her beautiful markings. Oreo is a happy girl with lots of love and joy to give to a family and to children. She loves being around people and will do anything to sit in your lap. She likes to be in control of the toys therefore would work best with another dog that is ok with her being in control. Not sure about cats yet but we feel she could be trained to be easy with them. She loves to run and play and enjoy playing fetch with a ball. Bedford Humane has Oreo in training classes learning basic commands to help Oreo be an easier girl while walking. Put in your application today and once approved, be part of Oreo training classes. Oreo is waiting patiently for her forever home. Oreo has been spayed, dewormed, microchipped, and is on heartworm preventive, and has received the Distemper-Parvo combination vaccine, Kennel Cough vaccine and Rabies vaccine. Ollie adoption fee is $175.00 to help pay for the medical attention she has received. For more information, please call the Bedford Humane Society at 540-586-6100, or go to www.bhsva.org/adoptions-home.htm to fill out an adoption application.
