Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier
Hi - my name is Misty Marie! I look so adorable, don’t I? Well that I am, for sure, but I am also a handful. My new foster mom has learned my likes and dislikes, but it did not come easily. I did bite my foster mom by accident because she tried to take my very delicious treat and I thought maybe my foster brother was gonna steal my yummy snack. Like many small dogs, I can be a bit possessive, and might snap if not approached with care. I need a home without children, as their energy and noise cause me to become too anxious. I also would prefer a calm home with a single person, or a couple, as larger numbers of people around makes me nervous.
I don’t want to scare you with my quirks, but I feel I just need to let you know up front how I feel so our life together can be smooth from the beginning. My foster mom can give you more instructions about my sensitive nature. I would prefer a home where I am the only dog, but I guess I could get used to a four-legged roommate with the right amount of time and patience. I will chase nearly anything unfamiliar, including trespassers in my yard and maybe even the mail man until we get to know one another better. They think this may be the Jack Russell in me. I know BHS has done a lot for me, and while I am appreciative, I am just accustomed to living a certain way. If you are an older responsible couple looking for a queen of a dog to dote on I am for sure your girl. I hope the right people see me and realize that I am the one thing missing in their lives and give me a chance at a forever home!
